Mrs. Power welcomed everyone and called the meeting to order.
Special recognition to Mr. Maroney and Mrs. Purdy for attending the meeting.

New business:
Mrs. Purdy shared a presentation on the mental health services that counselors provide at the elementary level.
Shared new MTSS process where we look at whole child including academics, environment, behavior, attendance, social
She shared the different Protective Factors that are in place along with the instructional supports
Mrs. Purdy shared the Social emotional learning curriculum that is used, Second Step.
She shared the V2 resources offered for all DC students.
Mr. Maroney shared a presentation on services offered through the SPED department.
DC currently serving 734 students (16%)
Discussed what the Least restrictive environment looks like including the full spectrum of supports
Shared the variety of classrooms that are available in our county including: Pre-K, self-contained, Focus, GNETS
Discussed the different eligibility categories
Discussed how child find works in our county
